Grounded in Connections, Not Checkboxes
When life feels heavy and you're carrying more than anyone sees—you’re not alone. I support high-achieving adults, new mothers, and individuals in Black and Brown communities in reconnecting with their true selves through care that honors your full story.

Together, we get to the root of what’s going on and help you reclaim balance, clarity, and confidence through deep listening, culturally-responsive care, holistic psychiatry, and lifestyle medicine.

Hi, I'm Claudenie Mondesir, PA-C
I’m an integrative psychiatric provider who believes that true healing begins when you feel seen, heard, and empowered to reclaim your life on your own terms.

My path into medicine started with my grandmother—the healer in our community—who treated neighbors with herbal remedies and openhearted care. Her example taught me that healing isn’t just about science, but about connection, presence, and trust. With over 13 years of experience across hospitals, clinics, and private practice, I’ve seen how often people feel misdiagnosed, rushed, or reduced to symptoms. I created this practice to be different: a space where we slow down, get to the root of what’s going on, and design a care plan that honors your full self—mind, body, and spirit.

My Areas of Focus
Do you feel like something is off-but can't quite explain it?
At Monarch Holistic & Wellness Services, I work with adults who are outwardly functioning but inwardly exhausted—feeling overwhelmed, emotionally disconnected, or like they’ve lost themselves somewhere along the way. You may have tried therapy or medication before, but felt rushed, dismissed, or unsure if it was actually helping. Here, we do things differently. I take the time to understand your story, your symptoms, and your goals—so we can create a treatment plan that actually feels right.
Anxiety & Depression
Do you constantly feel on edge, drained, or stuck in negative thought loops—despite doing your best to hold it all together?

Whether you’re navigating burnout, emotional numbness, or the inner pressure to keep performing, anxiety and depression can make even simple tasks feel heavy. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals who are praised for being dependable—but silently feel like they’re unraveling inside. My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care with holistic strategies—like lifestyle coaching, mindfulness, and nutrition—to help you reset your nervous system, improve your mood, and feel like yourself again.
Trauma & PTSD
Do you feel like your past keeps showing up in the present-no matter how much you try to move on?

Trauma isn't just about what happened-it's about how it lives in the body. If you are experiencing hypervigilance, emotional numbness, or sudden waves of fear or anger, your not broken-your nervous system is doing its best to protect you. I use a trauma-informed integrative approach that blends traditional psychiatry with somatic awareness, mindfulness, and supportive therapies to help you regulate, rebuild safety, and reconnect with who you are beneath the pain.
Perinatal & Postpartum Depression
Do you feel overwhelmed, guilty, or unlike yourself during pregnancy or after having a baby?
The transition into motherhood is tender, complex, and often far messier than we're told. You may feel isolated, emotionally flat, disconnected from your baby, or plagued by guilt for not "bouncing back." As both clinician and mother, I understand how heavy this season can feel. I offer compassionate, nonjudgemental care that supports your mental health while honoring your shifting identity-so you can care for yourself while caring for your child.
Life Transitions
Are you facing a major life shift that's left you feeling lost, uncertain, or emotionally untethered?
Whether it's a career change, divorce, relocation, or returning to civilian life after the military, transitions can shake up your sense of identity and direction. Even positive change can come with unexpected grief. I help you slow down, reconnect with your values, and regain your footing-so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
Care for Black & Brown Communities (BIPOC)
Do you want mental health care where you don't have to explain your culture-or defend your pain?
If you've ever felt invisible, misunderstood, or judged in clinical settings, your not alone. Many of my clients come to me carrying not only personal struggles, but also the generational burden of having to "stay strong." I provide culturally affirming care that honors your full identity-including race, heritage, and lived experience. Together, we break cycles, release stigma, and build a space where you can finally exhale.

Let's Work Together!
How It Works: Compassionate Care for your path to peace, purpose, and emotional strength

Step 1: Book Your Free Consultation— This quick, no-pressure 15 minute call is a chance to connect, talk through your goals, ask questions, and decide together if we’re a good fit.
Step 2: Schedule Your Initial Evaluation — If we’re a good fit, we’ll schedule a comprehensive 75-minute intake session where I’ll do a full evaluation and begin crafting your personalized treatment plan. After scheduling, I will send you an intake packet of forms and questionnaires to complete before our first session. This appointment is $595 and includes an in-depth review of your history, current concerns, and holistic care options.
Step 3: Continue Care with Follow-Up Appointments— After your evaluation, we’ll discuss the next best steps—whether that’s individual follow-ups or a complete care package.
Most patients see the greatest results through consistent, ongoing support.

"I wanted to take this time to simply tell you, Thank you! Words cannot express the thankfulness I feel towards you. You were instrumental in resolving the stressors which were difficult for me at my time of need and made it easier for me to handle. Your kindness, compassion, and understanding have made my path through life much easier now. May you continue to service your patients with the same compassion you given me. You are in a position to making a difference in people’s lives and you’ve definitely touched and changed my life."

“My provider is very personable, great listener, and empathetic to the concerns of her patients. She treats others as they want to be treated. Claudine cares and makes her patients feel comfortable and ensure them that they are in safe hands. She extends her hours as needed to accommodate their needs. She also provides quality care not only to her patients, but also to her peers. Claudine has effective communication skills, where she always follows up with reports via phone calls, emails, or in-person. I would strongly recommend Claudine to anyone because she goes above and beyond for all her patients.”

"I highly recommend Claudenie Mondesir wholeheartedly to anyone seeking a bright, compassionate physician for themselves or their family members. I am a woman in her late 30’s who was a first-time mother suffering from post-partum depression and anxiety due to an unforeseen accident. I'm so happy to have found someone to talk to who maintains true professionalism and has a calm about her that is not easy to come by. She is knowledgeable and caring and I always feel like I am in extremely capable hands even when the world around me feels like it’s crashing down. She has helped me overcome so much as it relates to my career, family, friends and relationships. I feel like my life and mental peace are both in such a better place since I started seeing her.
